Here are a handful of picks for Tuesday, December 5th, to help you build a tennis acca
This week, the Open Angers continues the European winter indoor swing, while the South American summer clay swing lands in Montevideo, Uruguay.
The Arena Loire hosts the Open Angers, while the Carrasco Lawn Tennis Club hosts the Montevideo Open.
To help you put together an accumulator, we have selected our picks for a handful of matches on Tuesday, 5 December.
WTA Angers: Dayana Yastremska vs Tiphanie Lemaitre Fiquet | Pick: Yastremska
WTA Angers: Audrey Albie vs Oceane Dodin | Pick: Dodin
WTA Angers: Nuria Parrizas Diaz vs Erika Andreeva | Pick: Andreeva
WTA Angers: Rebecca Peterson vs Cristina Andreea Mitu | Pick: Mitu
WTA Montevideo: Carolina Bohrer Martins vs Solana Sierra | Pick: Sierra
WTA Montevideo: Carolina Meligeni Rodrigues Alves vs Julia Riera | Pick: Riera
WTA Montevideo: Leyre Romero Gormaz vs Robin Montgomery | Pick: Montgomery
WTA Montevideo: Maria Carle vs Valeriya Strakhova | Pick: Carle
WTA Angers: Dayana Yastremska vs Tiphanie Lemaitre Fiquet
Sixth seed Dayana Yastremska will have to extinguish home hope Tiphanie Lemaitre Fiquet to gain the last sixteen for the second week in a row.
Lemaitre's fitness is in question after she retired from a W60 event in Nantes and missed the whole of November.
Yastremska needs to do a better job of putting opponents away when she gets on top.
However, we can't see Fiquet upsetting the Ukranian in this contest.
WTA Angers: Audrey Albie vs Oceane Dodin
Oceane Dodin should go over in the fifth clash against Audrey Albie in her career to date.
Dodin has won three of their four meetings to date and has played well in home events in recent weeks.
There was a W60 title in Nantes for Dodin and also a W40 in Petange before her winning streak was snapped in Valencia.
Dodin should be good value to continue her winning streak on French soil against compatriot Albie.
WTA Angers: Nuria Parrizas Diaz vs Erika Andreeva
Just four rankings places split Nuria Parrizas Diaz and her first round opponent, Erika Andreeva.
They may be near to one another in ranking, but they are in very different places in their careers.
Andreeva is undoubtedly on the up as a 19-year-old with a lot of promise even if she has the threat of being overshadowed by her younger sister hovering over her.
Diaz is a tour veteran and dangerous player, but Andreeva might just be able to edge this battle.
WTA Angers: Rebecca Peterson vs Cristina Andreea Mitu
Seventh seed Rebecca Peterson faces Cristina Andreea Mitu looking for her first win over the Romanian.
Mitu has twice beaten Peterson and threatens to make a mockery of seeding and ranking if she can do it a third time.
Even though she is ranked lower, Mitu has enjoyed a better season than Peterson, although the level of play is a factor.
Peterson could be the seed in the most danger across the first round.
WTA Montevideo: Carolina Bohrer Martins vs Solana Sierra
After a strong couple of weeks from Solana Sierra, she is seeded seventh in Montevideo and opens against Brazil's Carolina Martins.
This could be one of the mismatches of the round in truth, with Sierra's form suggesting she should breeze into the last 16.
The Brazilian teenager may have nothing to lose, but it is doubtful she has the tools to win this contest.
This one should be over in straight sets, with Sierra coming out on top.
WTA Montevideo: Carolina Meligeni Rodrigues Alves vs Julia Riera
Julia Riera had the measure of Carolina Meligeni Rodrigues Alves when they first met in 2022 and should have her bested again in Montevideo.
Alves comes into this clash on a four-match losing streak stretching back to October.
Riera was a semi-finalist in Buenos Aires last week and will feel that she should match that this week.
Riera has everything needed to overcome Alves on clay.
WTA Montevideo: Leyre Romero Gormaz vs Robin Montgomery
Spain's Leyre Romero Gormaz might be more familiar with the surface but Montgomery is in better form over recent weeks.
Montgomery has played at a higher level than Gormaz and has threatened to get some big results in recent weeks.
In this match, she needs to make sure she makes the most of her power from the baseline.
Gormaz will have to counter-attack and hope for mistakes from Montgomery.
WTA Montevideo: Maria Carle vs Valeriya Strakhova
Fifth seed Maria Carle starts her bid for a WTA 125 title in Montevideo against Valeriya Strakhova of Ukraine.
Strakhova has been far from her best this term and faces an Argentinean player on the rise.
Carle has enjoyed good results in recent weeks but would love to add a title to some good wins.
Strakhova will be out to secure a big upset, but Carle should have all her bases covered.
