Arc 2024 Weekend at Longchamp

There's a lot happening on the Saturday so we will start there and do Sunday later.

Hard to realise you are in Paris when the favourites for the first two races are odds-on O'Brien runners.

The G2 Prix Chaudry is for 3yos over 3000m and has 8 runners with the O'Brien Illinois at 1/3.  Ryan Moore of course rides.  Nearest in the market is Trafalgar Swuare on 6/1 for Cottier-Guyon and the Aga Khan's Shamarkand could be value on 10/1 for Graffard-Barzalona.

It's been known for some time that Kyprios was heading to the Prix Cadran and here he is on 1/3 for the Coolmore team.  Trueshan is on 9/2 with James Doyle not Hollie riding and Double Major is on 6/1 (the only local in the field) for Ferland-Guyon.

The Daniel Wildenstein is G2 over 1600m and there are 11 runners with the Fabre-Pouchin Alcantor on 3/1. With a decent field we are going wide and putting in Caramelito on 8/1 Rohaut-Bachelot and Andromède 12/1 for Graffard-Soumillon.

The Prix Royallieu G1 for f&m is over 2800m and has 16 runners.  Quite an open race with the market having Term of Endearment 4/1 on top (de Bromhead-Pouchin).  Then Sea Theme is on 6/1 for Haggas-Marquand.  Minstral Star was scratched recently obviously in favour of running here so 9/1 could be value (Morrison- C Demuro) and we are a faithful follower of Mosaique on 10/1 (Laffon-Parias – Guyon).

The Prix Dollar is now down to 7 runners for the 2000m G2 and we are going for Calif 8/1 for the Lerners who have booked de Vries for the ride.  Anmaat has good support and is on 6/4 for Burrows-Crowley.

The going is shown as very soft but there hasn't been that much rain the last few days and they are not watering the track so that may change.  Friday and Saturday should be sunny with some light showers on Sunday.
