Flora Stakes and Yomiuri Milers' Cup

The first in Tokyo and the second at Kyoto, they are both G2 and the main features of Sunday's racing in Japan.

The Sankei Sports Sho Flora Stakes is for 3yo fillies over 2000m. We do not know a lot about these young ladies as it doesn't look like many of them had much 2yo racing. One who did is Cosmo Andromeda, by Roses in May. There are two "little impacts" Fragoline and Las Venturas, and two Agnes Tachyons Turf Delight and La Scintillante.

At Kyoto we see some more familiar faces with the likes of Grand Prix Boss, Real Impact, Red Davis and Maruka Phoenix going round. This is often seen as a lead in to the Yasuda Kinen in June.
