Upsets at Nakayama, more predictable Hanshin

That's about the balance of the weekend's Japanese feature racing with the Laurel Sho at Nakayama and the Fillies' Revue at Hanshin.

At Nakayama there were some huge payouts on the exotics as the race involving the older girls saw Lady Alba Rose lead for much of the race and win at 17.1, with All That Jazz finishing strongly for second at 16.0, Aeolian Harp come from nowhere for third at 26.3, and fourth home Meine Isabel at 28.4. Whale Caputure, who had been just behind Lady Alba Rose for much of the journey, held on for fifth.

At Hanshin no surprises when favourite I'm Yours saluted - a nice strong filly. She held out Bewitched (14.5) and the flying Prenotato (12.8) with arguably the run of the race, and Ichiokuno Hoshi fourth. Red Claudia not disgraced in seventh, and Anchuras not that impressive.
