Small field in Kranji feature

Only seven runners to line up in the main race at Kranji this weekend which will be Race 5 on tonight's card.

It's an Open Benchmark 97 over 1400m on the turf. Apache Crown should be able to handle this as he's

drawn well and has the advantage of an apprentice claim, but Just A Man has also got his supporters so it

could turn into an intriguing tussle. Macau hasn't won over this trip but he's been knocking on the door

and will step up at some stage, and Tenzing is returning from a spell so may need the race but should be

able to finish in the top four given there are only seven in the field.
