Singapore Friday and Sunday

On Friday Race 7, an Open over 2200m sees El Dorado take on challengers from the Laxon and Shaw stables.

Laxon saddles three runners with Martial Art arguably the best of these, but Gordon Roberts may be the

hidden gem here.

The Shaw runners Maurice Utrillo and South Easter have been a little disappointing in recent outings and

will be out to atone in this.

Sundays card is headlined by the Garden City Trophy Group 3 over the 1200m turf track. Ato and Argy

Bargy are both in top form and it would be a brave man who split them. The only hint is that Barend

Vorster has opted for Ato. Better Be The One, Northern Lion and Ace Aliado all have claims for

consideration, making it a lot more open than may at first appear to be the case.
