Blazing Tempo sets the pace in Galway Plate

Unbelievable that this is Willie Mullins's first Galway Plate win but he's now on the board.

One of the two top races of the week, Blazing Tempo finished ahead of our tip Wise Old Owl 12/1 with

Aigle d'Or third at 25/1 and Hampshire Express 4th at 25/1. Well done if you got the 4! Fav Bahrain

Storm didn't travel well and then dumped his rider , Majestic Concorde was pulled up and the rest were

also rans.

Thursday's highlight is the Galway Hurdle with 23 down to run but we would doubt if Bahrain Storm would

go round again. The Real Article is at 3/1 which looks very skinny as this is based on his controversial

run at Tipperary where he went down to Captain Cee Bee, 8/1 and Tony McCoy riding and much more

appeal. Dirar at 7/1 is a useful type. Hidden Universe is 8/1, and if you believe in following up a horse

running for the second time in a week, Fosters Cross who won on Monday is in here and is 12/1.

Last year's winner Overturn is over in England going for the Goodwood Cup on the flat today.
