Do Deuce was settled well and coming round the home corner moved forward and steadily increased the pace going up the hill and was able to finish clear of second placed Tastiera 53.8, third Ho O Biscuits and fourth Justin Palace 15.0.

Of the more favoured runners Liberty Island was disappointing but it was her first run since March but this time she found the hill from the 400m to the 200m just too much. Lebenstil was 8th and Sol Oriens 7th which no real excuses.

Ho O Biscuits was in the lead for much of the race and when the charge came at him he was able to keep pushing on along the rail and got a well-earned third place.  He should do well over longer trips.
