Haydock Park’s Peter Marsh Chase fixture has become the latest victim of the UK’s cold weather snap, with racing abandoned on Saturday.
Although the course 'were initially optimistic warmer temperatures would help during the day on Friday', an 8am precautionary inspection was called on Friday morning. Racing was declared abandoned with the track recording lows of -7 degrees throughout the week.
