Air Pilot is set to chase Group Two honours at York following his latest success at the Curragh.
Should conditions be suitable, Ralph Beckett will target the Sky Bet York Stakes on July 25 for his consistent six-year-old after his Group Three win in the Hermitage Medical Clinic International Stakes on Sunday.
"It was one of those days when it worked out for us," said the Kimpton trainer.
"He deserved it. I thought he ran a great race in the Darley Stakes behind Paul Cole's good Mount Nelson colt Berkshire last year.
"He ran a good race at Chester (when a close third in the Huxley Stakes) on a track that didn't suit him, so it was good.
"If we got a drop of rain he might go to York later in the month."
Beckett has not yet formulated plans for Secret Gesture, who was second in that York race last summer, after she finished fourth to Diamondsandrubies in the Group Pretty Polly Stakes on the same Curragh card at the weekend.
"She probably ran close to her best. That's not far away from where she is," he told At The Races.
"She might have run a couple of pounds below, but not a great deal. It was a strong Pretty Polly and so we will see what happens next."
