Blue Jangles (Race 4) has been backed into favouritism at $3.30, more than a point-and-a-half shorter than his opening quote. He has been racing in Melbourne including a last-start win at Moonee Valley and while untried at this distance he looks well placed in the country.

Lord Von Costa (Race 5) has tightened his grip on the market at $3.60, more than a point shorter than his initial price. He resumes off a brief spring campaign in Melbourne that saw him compete in better races but at his two previous starts last winter he won a Listed race and was second to Spieth both down the Flemington straight.

Green Sweet (Race 6) could be worth an each way ticket in the Albury Gold Cup at $5.50 having firmed two-and-a-half points since markets opened. The American-bred French import has only raced once in Australia for a second at Rosehill and could be a big improver second up despite a jump in class.

Loose Goose (Race 8) is a well supported favourite in the last at $2.70, almost a dollar shorter than her opening quote. The mare comes off a last-start win at Wellington and should be hitting her peak third up this time in.
