Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting on Monday’s meeting at Moonee Valley.

Cassadee (Race 3) is a progressive filly and the punters believe she can continue on her winning way, backing her in more than half a point as a warm $2.40 favourite with TopBetta fixed odds. The filly comes off a mile win last start and is being aimed at the Oaks in Sydney so should relish the longer trip.

Montoya's Secret (Race 4) has tightened her grip on favouritism at $3.10 after firming a half point. The filly has returned well, running second at this course before winning her maiden at Pakenham last time and the punters are banking on her taking another step forward today.

Perfectly Safe (Race 5) opened as a narrow favourite but at 3.50 has opened the gap on her nearest rival after firming three-quarters of a point. The filly ran third to subsequent stakes winner Brugal Reward when resuming at this course and should be improved second up.
