Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting on Friday’s meeting at Canterbury.
Missile Coda (Race 3) has been backed into favouritism at $2.80, which is two and a half points shorter than her best price. The filly went straight to the paddock after a debut win at Kembla and is expected to return well after two solid recent trials.
Gretna (Race 5) is a warm favourite at $2.10, which is 60 cents shorter than her opening price. The Waller-trained filly raced in stakes company in the spring and should be fit for this second up off a resuming fourth at Randwick.
Regatta Rebel (Race 8) is now second pick in the market at $5, two points shorter than her opening quote. The mare was tried in stakes company last campaign but was dropped back to the provincials for a Gosford fourth when resuming and is expected to improve second up.Get Best Tote and Fixed Odds betting at TopBetta
