Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting on Thursday’s meeting at Pakenham.

Dangerwood (Race 2) opened as equal favourite but now stands clear at the top of the market at $3.80 having firmed 80 cents this morning. Ran a better race last time when up to this trip and the punters are backing him to continue to progress at start number four.

Yulong Xiong Hu (Race 3) has almost halved his opening quote to $3.30 and at that quote is now second favourite. He ran a better race when placed at this first attempt at the mile last start and is expected to improve again.

Lilymorn (Race 4) has firmed a point to take over as favourite at $3.40. She resumes after a short maiden campaign but showed ability with a last start second at Bendigo.
