The Money Trail – Wyong, January 22

Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting on Sunday’s meeting at Wyong.

Jervois Night (Race 3) has taken over as favourite at $2 after firming 80 cents from opening prices. He has hit the line well in two runs this time in and should be peaking for the step up to the mile.

Eusebio (Race 5) is another to have arrested the top spot in the market at $2.15, which is 70 cents shorter than his initial quote. The Godolphin gelding was runner up in both starts at provincial level at his maiden campaign and won a recent Randwick trial.

Positive Problems (Race 7) opened at each way odds but is now the favourite at $4.20, close to two points shorter than his best price. The Bjorn Baker trained mare resumes and is a first up winner before having also won both of her recent trials.
