Balboa Park (Race 4) has taken over at the head of the market at $3 having shortened about a point and a half since betting commenced. He is making his first attempt at this distance but has been racing well as he has been stepping up in trip of late with a Hawkesbury win and a last-start placing at Canterbury.

Sweet Redemption (Race 6) was one of three runners to share the top line of betting when markets opened but is now the clear favourite at $2.90 having firmed the best part of two points. She resumes today but ran in stakes events last campaign including a G3 placing in Melbourne and should be ready to fire off two barrier trial wins.

High Opinion (Race 7) wasn’t too far off double figure odds when betting commenced but steady support has seen his price trim right up and at $3.20 is now the top pick . He made some ground when resuming and will be fitter and better suited up to this trip having a win and a placing from three attempts.
