Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting on Thursday’s meeting at Goulburn.

Intueri (Race 3) opened at each way but after firming three and a half points is now the second pick in the market at $3.30. The Dream Ahead colt is on debut for Team Hawkes and has won both of his barrier trials this campaign leading into his first race outing.

First Channel (Race 4) could be worth an each way ticket at $7.50 with steady support seeing his price trim up from an opening quote of $16. He started at big odds and was well beaten on debut at Kembla but spelled since he has trialled twice recently, placing in one at Randwick.

Viaductress (Race 6) has taken over at the head of the market at $4.40 in a wide betting race. She has firmed two points and enjoys a significant drop in grade after racing in city Saturday class at her two runs so far this campaign.

Centerofattention (Race 7) is offering decent value at $6.50 having firmed in from a double figure quote earlier in betting. She has hit the line well to run fourth at both runs so far this campaign and should be peaking third up today.
