Classy 5YO gelding Call Me Handsome (Kodiac x Call Later by Gone West) became the 45th stakes winner for the son of Danehill and at the same time his first black type winner in Australia when he won the Listed Heatherlie Stakes.

Kodiac, standing at Ireland's Tally-Ho Stud, followed with a G1 win by his Melbourne Cup bound son Best Solurtion in Germany.

Best Solution (Kodiac x Al Andalyya by Kingmambo) backed up from his win in last month’s G1 Grosser Preis von Berlin with a game victory in Sunday’s G1 Grosser Preis von Baden.

Trainer Saeed bin Suroor said the plan for Best Solution is to now go to Australia for the Caulfield Cup and Melbourne Cup.

Best Solution’s dam Al Andalyya is a half sister to the Listed winner Kosmiche (Fastnet Rock), G2 Prix winner Cape Clear Island (Fastnet Rock) and stakes placed Squire Osbaldeston (Mr. Greeley).

His granddam is the G3 placed Kushnarenkovo (Sadler’s Wells), a daughter of European highweight Eva Luna (Alleged) and half sister to G1 winner and sire Brian Boru (Sadler’s Wells).

Kushnarenkovo is also a sister to the unraced dam of champion classic winner and sire Workforce (King’s Best).
