Pivotal, a sire with little exposure in Australia, has sires the winners of 313 stakes races including 155 in Group races.

Pivotal has produced 29 Individual G1 winners, among his Australian star Under The Louvre, a resident at Queensland’s Grandview Stud.

With the Queensland breeding industry flourishing with the likes of Spirit Of Boom, Better Than Ready, Whittington and Sidestep, Under The Louvre brings a bloodlines that are rare in this country.

Pivotal has proven to be the golden ticket, the results of his progeny placing him among the best stallions of all time and proving around the world to be a sire of sires.

His sire sons include Kyllachy, who produced 32 individual stakes winners winning 80 stakes races. Another standout is arguably the rising star of world breeding Siyouni.

From only two crops to hit the track he has already produced 27 individual stakes winners of 48 stakes races accumulating $24,750,269 including two G1 winners.

Under The Louvre has only been at stud for two years, serving 30% more mares in his second season than he did in his first.

Grandview owner Michael Grieve says his first crop foals have made quite an impression.

"Breeders who sent Under The Louvre one mare in the first season sent him two the next as they were simply thrilled with what he left on the ground," Grieve said.

Under the Louvre himself could run sectionals that put him in the top echelon of sprinters in this country. A G1 Stradbroke Handicap winner, he was placed four times at G1 level.

Under The Louvre is standing on a fee of $6600 at Grandview with Excellent Art, the Royal Ascot St James Palace Stakes winner who sired 20 stakes winners of more than $37 million prize money.

Avilius (Pivotal x Alessandria by Sunday Silence) was bred in Europe by Darley and raced seven times for French trainer Andre Fabre prior to being imported to Australia in 2018.

He has now won eight of his 11 starts for the Godolphin stable taking his career record to 10 wins from 18 starts for earnings of $2,402,660.

Avilius is out of the two-time winner Alessandria, a prolific producer of nine foals for four winners.

They include Saint Baudolino, a full brother to Avilius who was placed in the G1 Prix du Jockey Club and won the G2 Prix Guillaume d'Ornano.

Second dam Tereshkova (Mr Prospector) was a G3 winner and was placed in the G1 Prix Morny.

She is a sister to G1 winner Lycius and G2 winner Akabir.

Avilius has a 3YO half-sister by Shamardal, a 2YO half-brother by Oasis Dream and a yearling half-brother by Dubawi.
