British-bred Public Sector (3 c ex Parle Moi by Montjeu) provided his Juddmonte Farm-based sire Kingman (Invincible Spirit) with his 39th stakes winner when he won the National Museum of Racing Hall Of Fame Stakes (Gr 3, 8f) at Saratoga on Friday.

Trained by Chad Brown, Public Sector broke well and then settled down in third on the rail with the field led by Next (Not This Time). Public Sector took the rails run in the straight and ran on well to pull clear of Annex (Constitution) and score by a length. In Effect (Dialed In) was another length and a quarter back in third.

Public Sector, who was bought for 170,000gns at the 2019 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale Book 1 by Mark Ryan as agent for Klaravich Stables, is out of the winning Montjeu (Sadler's Wells) mare Parle Moi who is herself out of dual Group Three winner Di Moi Oui (Warning).

Based at Banstead Manor Stud in Newmarket, Kingman is being offered to breeders to southern hemisphere time for a fee of £70,000 this year.
