Group 3 winner and half-sister to multiple Group 1 winner Steel City shapes as one of the headline acts of a Magic Millions virtual sale, which will be held later this month.

The Ciaron Maher-trained four-year-old, a daughter of Merchant Navy who cost $700,000 as a yearling, is one of 33 preliminary lots confirmed for the sale that will take place on August 27.

Steel City finished second-last in last weekend's Group 2 Missile Stakes at Rosehill but was one of the highest-rated juveniles of her generation, having won last year's Magic Night Stakes (1200m) the start after a luckless effort as a $5.50 chance in the Blue Diamond.

She is out of the Street Cry mare Pittsburgh Flyer, who is the dam of Coolmore Stud Stakes and William Reid Stakes winner September Run.

Group 1 VRC Oaks placegetter Queen Air, a daughter of Toronado, and this year's Group 3 Proud Miss Stakes winner Boognish, a daughter of Sooboog who is from the family of Golden Slipper winner Forensics, are among the other off-the-track mares being offered.

Also up for grabs is Adaay mare Have A Good Day, a Group 3 winner who was placed at Group 2 level in France, who is being offered in-foal to Frankel.

A lifetime breeding right to champion stallion I Am Invincible, who will this year stand at a fee of $275,000, is also part of the catalogue.

Entries for the August virtual sale close on August 20, seven days before lots will be offered from 2pm.
