First for Satono Aladdin

Omiwatari becomes the first winner for the Rich Hill shuttler in Japan

Rich Hill shuttler Satono Aladdin (Deep Impact) sired his first winner on Thursday when Omiwatari (2 c ex Petit Princesse by King Kamehameha) won over 1100 metres on the dirt at Monbetsu. 

The colt was having his second start after finishing third over 1700 metres on May 27. 

Omiwatari is out of Petit Princesse (King Kamehameha), making him a half-brother to four winners while his second dam is Clear Path (A P Indy), the dam of eight winners and herself a daughter of Grade 3 winning mare Masake (Master Willie) who was also placed at Grade 1 level in the US. 

Satono Aladdin will stand for an unchanged fee of NZ$12,500 (plus GST) at Rich Hill Stud this season and his first New Zealand-bred crop of sold for up to NZ$360,000 at the yearling sales this year. He stood for Y1 million at Shadai Stallion Station this year.
