RACE 8 (3) BROOK ROAD: Genuine mare can add to her excellent record at Randwick where she has been out of the money just once in five starts. Returns to town from a strong fourth over 1100m at the Scone Cup carnival and will eat up the heavy conditions, especially if the track is favouring the closers from the back.
RACE 9 (12) COSMOPOL: Plenty of improvement to come from this lightly-raced prospect after resuming with an eye-catching second over 1100m at this course on May 18 when he came from well off the pace. Yet to miss a place in seven starts and don’t expect his wide gate to be a great disadvantage in the heavy ground late in the day.
