RACE 4 (5) SANGIOVESE: Suffered her first career loss when she came back from a break to finish an excellent second over 1000m at Randwick on April 25 when she did well to make up ground on a soft surface. Stamped herself as a filly of high potential when she won her first two provincial starts in January and February and should find this extra distance from a good draw on the big Scone track very much to her liking.RACE 5 (1) SPILL THE BEANS: Hard to oppose this classy 3YO after his dominant last start Hawkesbury Guineas win over 1400m when he scored in record time under 58kg after dictating the pace. Drops 1.5kg from that win under these favourable set weight conditions and should get all the favours again from the front.
RACE 6 (6) FEDERAL: Confident the best is still to come from this talented sprinter who already boasts a strong record of four wins and four placings from only 11 starts. Won a strong form race over 1400m at Rosehill when first-up from 10 months in March and then disadvantaged by a wide gate and drop back to 1200m on a soft track when a closing fourth behind Music Magnate in the G3 Hall Mark Stakes at Randwick. Has since trialled strongly and can turn the tables on Music Magnate meeting him 4.5kg better over this more favourable distance.BLACKBOOK UPDATE
