ROSEHILL SATURDAY

RACE 2: (3) KUHREIHEN: Yet another smart prospect from the Darley stable. Peter Snowden placed him well when he resumed at Canterbury on December 16 for a stylish win over 1200m at just his second career start that came after an excellent debut second at Caulfield last season. He let down impressively at Canterbury after being held up on the turn and his scope for improvement should see him measure up well to this better company.

RACE 5: (4) DUKE OF CORNWALL: Well placed to build on an excellent record that has seen him miss a place only once in eight starts. With Sam Clipperton's 3kg claim he will drop 6kg from his resuming second at Canterbury when he was just lacking race fitness. Blinkers go on second up and combined with his expected improvement in condition he should prove hard to beat with the weight advantage he holds over his main rivals.

RACE 7: (5) PECK: Has carried high expectations since last season and looks ready to deliver in this suitable class with the step to 2000m coming after two excellent efforts since resuming. Won over this course and distance under 57kg in June and primed to repeat coming into this on a seven day back up from his strong finishing second to Winning Glory over 1900m at Canterbury last Saturday when he had difficulties in transit.
