Track: Heavy 8

Rail: True

First race: 11.25am

Stratum's Siren (Race 3) has firmed a point in early betting and has taken over as favourite with TopBetta at $3.60. She looks up to Highway Handicap company after two good runs this time including a big 2.8L win at Wagga last start. She returned a career peak rating there, a figure that is one of the highest last-start ratings in this field, and the punters are expecting to continue in that form.

Pindan Pearl (Race 5) has taken over at the top of the market at $4.20 after firming in a point-and-a-half in early markets. A last star winner in mares grade at this track when hitting the line hard, punters are looking for her to appreciate an extra 100m.

Roguish (Race 6) opened at double figures odds but has been hammered early, into $5 in fixed odds markets. A lightly-raced but progressive three-year-old, he backs up after finishing close-up in a busy finish at Randwick last week and he looks capable of progressing to better things.

Farolitos (Race 7) has continued to shorten, even after taking over as favourite, and his quote of $4 has trimmed up two whole points on opening figures. He looks ready to peak third up off two solid performances and is a previous winner at the journey.
