He was a friend to the punters last campaign winning three races on the trot, all as a hot favourite. Fitter for a resuming fifth, the money suggests he is ready to get back to his winning ways with the step up in trip.
That's Woody (Race 5) has firmed in a couple of points early but is still showing good each way odds of $5.50. He comes off a maiden win at this track and distance last start after some consistent form. Although stepping up in grade punters are looking for him to run his usual honest race.Changing Notes (Race 7) steps out in North Queensland for the first time and punters have latched on to his NSW form lines. He shortened more than $1 to a fixed odds quote of $5.50. A last-start second at Sapphire Coast, he had won his previous two runs at Queanbeyan and Sapphire Coast and his ratings suggest that form will be competitive in this line-up.
