Melbourne jockey Stephen Baster will stay in Singapore until the end of the year after receiving a six months extension of his current licence by the SIngpoare Turf Club.

Baster, Kiwi rider Opie Bposson and Brazilian Ivaldo Santana were given six-month extensions of their current licenses that expire on June 30.
They can now continue riding at Kranji until December 31.
However top South African jockey Felix Coetzee will not be taking up a six months licence from June 1, informing the Singapore Turf Club that he will not be available due to family reasons.
Baster, 37, has been in great form at Kranji since he commenced his six-month licence in January.
A winner of over 1000 races, Baster has notched 28 wins at Kranji and currently sits in third place on the Singapore premiership although a distant 68 wins behind runaway leader Joao Moreira.
However he will no doubt cut into that lead due to the excellent support he has been receiving from a variety of trainers including Michael Freedman, Steven Burridge and Leslie Khoo,
Baster has recorded one feature win with a victory in the G3 Kranji Sprint on Mr Big.
I Santana, began his current stay on January15 and though he is not supported by the bigger stables he has still been able to ride 16 winners to lie in sixth position in the standings.
The Brazilian jockey has won close to 800 races in his 11 years of riding in Brazil, including 12 Group One races among 48 Group and Listed victories.
Bosson will again be sponsored by New Zealand trainers Mark Walker and Bruce Marsh. From his 146 rides he has won 13 races to be in ninth spot on the Singapore premiership.
The former NZ champion has won over 1100 races struck a good relationship with the Walker-trained Flying Fulton at Kranji, scoring two G3 wins in the New Year Cup and the Polytrack Mile Championship.
