Tannhauser will look to bounce back to winning form when he lines up in the Stakes C (1200m) at Kranji on Sunday.
The Michael Clements-trained runner goes back on the turf in an attempt to prove he is more than a ‘one track wonder’ winning all four races on the Polytrack to date but unplaced his only time on the turf which came on debut.
Tannhauser will no doubt be looking towards some feature racing in the coming months and if he can run up to the form he has shown to date he is certainly good enough to be winning today.
Vlad Duric will remain on board once again and from barrier 3 would expect him to get a nice run in behind the leaders.Whilst he was a beaten odds on favourite last start, Tannhauser certainly has more ability then he showed on that occasion and he is right up to returning to the winners circle in this.
Bao Shan Magic will appreciate the return to the turf track just battling away when resuming on the Polytrack last start and is much better suited today.Produced some fairly handy form last campaign and building an impressive career record, missing the placings for the first time last start from six career outings.
The Mark Walker-trained runner has won two of his three starts over this distance, placing on the other occasion and he will be right around the mark again today with a return to form.Sir Isaac has been racing well in easier races but could well be ready to feature in open class now.
Placed in his last two starts at the back end of last preparation and has been readied for this with a very strong barrier trial win over 1000m, getting the better of Twickenham.Does not win out of turn with just the two victories from 15 starts but has placed a further eight times and would not be surprised to see him in the finish today.
Darc Bounty has a good record on the turf track and also comes into consideration off a much improved run last start.Likely to push forward from the inside draw and will take plenty of running down.
Good Luck
