Longkissgoodnight will return at Geelong today in the Roderick Insurance BM 70 (1300m) following some very good form in debut campaign.
The Team Hawkes-trained runner has featured in the placings all four runs to date which includes a dominant win at Ballarat over 1400m and she finds a nice race to kick off the preparation.
Longkissgoodnight is likely to push forward from barrier nine to settle on the speed and expect her to take plenty of beating.
Patrick Moloney takes the ride for the first time and if the daughter of O’Reilly can run up to her form last campaign she can certainly return to the winners circle.
Iamhere also comes into consideration following a dominant 4.3L win over this C/D last time out.
Goes up in class today on that effort but she rates well on weight adjusted ratings and should be right around the mark again today.
Has led in her last three outings and from the good draw should find the lead without too much trouble again today.
Whilst her form has been mixed of late, Iamhere looks very well suited on the back of her dominant win last time out and no reason she can’t make it two on the bounce.
Mrs President returns having run in much tougher company last campaign.
Has placed on all three previous first up efforts and despite not having won in a while now possesses a very handy career record.
The four-year-old mare has had just the one previous outing over 1300m where she placed and expecting another solid showing today.
This appears to be the easiest race Mrs President has contested for some time and she certainly comes into consideration.
Eye The World was far from disgraced when returning over 1100m at this course last start, running on well for a close fourth.
Should appreciate the step up to 1300m for this and the six-year-old gelding has won 2/5 at the course.
Drawn to get a nice run off the pace and can certainly feature in the finish today based off his solid form in tougher last campaign.
Cool Cool World looks some sort of chance at odds having followed up two wins with a fair effort at this C/D last time out.
