Crow Walker faces two-game AFL ban

Adelaide star forward Taylor Walker faces a two-game AFL ban for a sling tackle on Geelong's Harry Taylor.

Adelaide will lose star forward Taylor Walker for coming AFL clashes with Carlton and Collingwood unless he risks a bigger ban by fighting a rough conduct suspension.

Walker can accept a two-game suspension for a sling tackle on Geelong's Harry Taylor in Saturday's win over the Cats in Adelaide.

Walker pinned Taylor's arms and dumped him to the ground in the first term, with the defender having to spend time being assessed for concussion before returning to the ground.

A penalty loading for prior offences means Walker will risk missing three matches if he contests the charge at the tribunal on Tuesday night.

Walker leads the AFL with 23 goals, including 14 in the past three rounds as the Crows beat Port Adelaide, Sydney and Geelong.

He is the only player facing suspension from the weekend's round but Geelong's Joel Corey has been fined $900 for giving the finger to an umpire.

Essendon's Nathan Lovett-Murray was cleared, despite West Coast's Matt Priddis being concussed in a tackle on Saturday night.

The match review panel said the pair fell together, rather than Lovett-Murray driving Priddis into the ground.

North Melbourne's Jack Ziebell and Melbourne's Jordie McKenzie were both cleared over sliding incidents, deemed to be of insufficient force to constitute an offence.

In the case of McKenzie sliding into Mitchell, though, it was noted a free kick should have been paid.
