23 horses have been paid up for in Saturday's Group 1 Caulfield Cup with the final field to be confirmed by the MRC later this afternoon.

The makeup of the final field will be decided this afternoon with one horse out of either Moudre, Alcopop or Sabrage bumped into the first emergency slot of the lucrative feature event.
Those three runners share 17th position in the order of entry.
It looms as strong renewal of the Caulfield Cup headlined by the likes of Glencadam Gold, December Draw and Lights Of Heaven plus international raiders Dunaden, Americain and My Quest For Peace.
Barriers for the Caulfield Cup will be drawn tomorrow at 11am.
