MANDURAH
Race 1 No. 6 Glasgow Boy
Better suited over 400 but this isn't hard and if he steps well enough to hold some sort of forward spot, he will be hard to stop late. Good chance to break through here.
Race 4 No. 4 Opal Deluxe and No. 7 Zulu BuddyThe 4 is a sharp box dog when she's on and has a great record track and trip. Could easily lead all the way here off a good step. The 7 is racing well and he runs into his races quickly here. Low 17 winner two starts back and that's would go close here.
Race 5 No. 7 Sunset Comanche and No. 5 Trevor's GiftThe 7 having a look at this circuit in preparation for the Mandurah Derby soon. Has a serious engine and this track will suit. Big sections when clear. The 5 is racing so well at the moment. Great win last Friday when beating a very handy field in good time and will be closing off well again.
Looks the one here. Has a superior track and trip record to these and unlucky last start. Only needs a clear run and that would be it here. Should give these the business.
Race 10 No. 5 BractonImproved effort last time and been racing harder races than this lately until then. Meets a similar lineup here and just needs to offset the box early to be threat. He's capable.
Race 11 No. 3 Ella Can Browse and No. 4 Trendy Miss Best ValueTime for the 3 to step up against these. Can show speed and she sticks on well and she's been racing much tougher races than this. This is her chance. The 4 was superb last week running on hard behind a good dog around here. Will look for the fence and work home well again and can threaten with a little luck.
SANDOWN PARK
Race 1 No. 5 Flying Dinar
Part of a promising litter and gets her chance to do something here. Has speed and she sticks on. Box the only concern.
The 2 gets a great draw here and she can land handy to finish off her race well. As can the 3 who has a big run home and getting better every start. If he's close he's a huge threat late.
Race 5 No. 7 Mepunga LoafBetter off over further but a few of these want the arm and there could be a messy first turn. That will see this bloke get close up the back and be a good place heavy play.
Race 6 No. 8 SucceedThe enigma himself. Trip short of his best but does it really matter? If he wants to win, he wins. If he wants to get beaten, he's beaten. Take on trust the good one turns up and he will at least hit the frame with him half trying.
Race 7 No. 3 Whodat Shanlyn and No. 8 Zipping MinajThe 3 has an almighty motor and she will be launching late here. Has a great knack of finding her way into the race out wide in the back and will not be stopped if she's close. The 8 looks for the arm here and she's hard to mow down when she gets it. Good beginner who can run time when in front.
Race 10 No. 5 Voice Of Thunder and No. 8 Cuthbert BinnsThe 5 is a little under rated and he might land close here. Sticks on all day and will give a sight if he leads. The 8 goes better than most think. Has a big section through the back and can drop a knockout blow if he's wound up turning for home.
