Wawail went forward from her wide barrier (10) and then eased to enjoy a good trip in third place, one out and one back. She moved up really well nearing the home turn, got to the front at the 200m and battled gamey for a good first-up win.
Whistle Baby had a good run in fourth place on the rails, challenged at the 300m and battled on really well for a good second.
Choose travelled well outside the leader (Shakespearean Lass), got to a narrow lead at the 300m and battled on quite well for a sound third.
