Black Tomahawk wins 2015 Harry White Classic Listed $120,000 at Caulfield (VIC), 2400m.
Black Tomahawk passed the post with a round to go in fourth place, one out and one back and while passed by several runners down the back had a nice run with cover. At the 800m, he accelerated hard and shot past the leader, surging away by two lengths just before the home turn. Black Tomahawk broke clear at the top of the straight and went onto score by a neck.
Excess Knowledge settled behind the speed in fourth on the rails, with a moderate pace set by Epsom Hill. He was shuffled back when the winner made his move and then came down the outside and tried hard to catch the winner, but his break was too much to make up and the post came up too soon.
Ethiopia ran his best race in some time, finishing well along the rails but was a well beaten third.
