Dothraki wins 2015 Tattersall’s 150th Anniv. Stks Group 3 $175,000 at Gold Coast (QLD), 1200m.
Dothraki was smartly away and settled nicely outside the leader. He moved up, travelling particularly well, rounding the home turn and went to the front at the 200m. He looked in danger when challenged at the 100m but he lifted well to win narrowly but quite impressively.
Target In Sight settled nicely in fifth place on the rails, switched into clear running at the 300m and looked the winner when he challenged at the 100m. But the winner fought back too well and he battled on for a good second.
Rocket To Glory went to the front, travelled well until overtaken at the 200m. He then held on quite well for a sound third.
Dances On Stars was back in eighth place before going between runners on turning for home. He went through to fifth at the 200m and then battled on to finish (4.3 lengths) fourth.
