The Leslie Khoo trained Ninetysevenemperor could have not have been more impressive on Sunday evening when breaking through for his maiden win in the fourth event.

Lining up for his sixth career start the son of Thorn Park had continually put up solid performances just without being able to salute the judge.

Placing at all three starts since joining Khoo's care from the Michael Freedman stable, Ninetysevenemperor made the sharp rise from 1200m to a mile — a masterstroke by Khoo.

Ridden by Harry Kasim, the three-year-old adopted a fairly forward position settled fourth along the rail.

Under a stranglehold approaching the turn, Ninetysevenemperor quickly ambled up to the lead, striking the front inside the 400m.

Displaying a sharp turn of foot Ninetysevenemperor drew three lengths clear inside the 300m in one of the most impressive wins you are likely to see.

Allowed to coast to the line over the final 200m, Kasim spent the rest of the race looking over his shoulder to see where his rivals where.

In the end Ninetysevenemperor saluted by four lengths with seven-and-a-half lengths back to third and over 10 lengths back to sixth.

While obviously visually impressive the clock also helped to back up the strength of the performance.

Overall Ninetysevenemperor recorded one of the quickest times of the afternoon, marked approximately three lengths slower than Kranji Stakes A winner Martin.

Using Timeform ratings Ninetysevenemperor improved eight pounds on his previous best and for the third time in his career he recorded time ahead of the bare form.

The sharp step up in trip clearly was a recipe for success and Ninetysevenemperor gives the impression he will only keep improving as he gets out over further.

Using predictive Timeform ratings along with key sectional analysis, Ninetysevenemperor is likely to improve between four and six pounds at his next outing and should be followed closely.

If placed in suitable company we expect him to be very hard to beat and is a must for your blackbook.

Justice World

Another galloper who really impressed on Sunday evening was the Steven Burridge trained Justice World.

Unseen since March this year the son of Iffraaj made his return in the fifth event and was simply too good for his rivals in the Class 4 event.

Last preparation Justice World had placed in Bm 67 company and was only narrowly beaten over 1800m in a Kranji Stakes C event.

Stepping out over 1400m it could be argued that he would be better for the run, however Justice World's class shone when storming home to deny the Mark Walker trained Brahms And Liszt.

Settled towards the rear Justice World proved most impressive when coming from a mile back to streak down the outside hitting the front inside the 100m.

Ridden by Mario Esposito, Justice World was a clear sectional star and was close to an eight pound mark up.

Using Timeform ratings he returned a figure just five pounds shy of his career best and looks to be in for a bumper preparation.

Last preparation his best form was achieved around the mile and expect Burridge to adopt a similar progression this time in.

While he possesses just the three wins to his name, he is clearly capable and could pay to stick with.

Solaris Spectrum

Although he tasted his first defeat on Friday night willing to stick with the Shane Baertschiger trained Solaris Spectrum.

A dominant winner at his first two starts, Solaris Spectrum proceeded to line up in a very competitive Graduation event, holding his own to finish second behind the heavily supported Divided House ($1.20).

Beaten just half a length Solaris Spectrum recorded a new career peak and is clearly heading in the right direction.

Comparatively only Class 3 winner White Coffee recorded a quicker overall time and the form appears quite strong moving forward.

While clearly no knock on the winner Divided House, Solaris Spectrum has only had three starts and possesses plenty of scope for further improvement.
