Pittsburgh Flyer settled nicely, just behind the leaders, racing in about sixth place on the rails side. She eased across heels, going to fourth at the 300m, hit the front at the 100m and fought on too well to score by a long neck.
Earthquake settled in about fifth place, just behind the leaders. She challenged at the 400m, took the lead at the 200m and fought gamely under her top weight (60.5kg) for a very good second.
Ready To Fight was back in ninth place, improved between runners at the 200m, went to fourth at the 100m and battled on for a promising third, stepping up significantly after her recent maiden win.
The highly regarded Sistonic was ridden off the pace yesterday, settling back in tenth place, but failed to run on and finished a disappointing (10 lengths) 11th.
