These Adelaide tracks are still holding some moisture in them so looking for horses with the ability to handle softer ground.

Urban Ruler battled away at Flemington but those type of horses are better than these.
This is more midweek level class and he did win one at Sandown back in August. Importantly it was on soft ground.
He looks well set up after having had the run at 1400m for this distance today. Suspect we will get a better price on race day too.
Given the way he has started this prep Pepper The Pin should run well again on an affected track in Race 3.
He’s worked his way into both races and got up late three weeks back. This race won’t be much harder to last time but at the scale, actually drops to the limit.
Clare Lindop rides him best and again he won’t need to cover too much ground with this sized field.
