With no sign of rain making life tricky for the National Hunt season to get underway, it again looks best to concentrate on the all-weather scene.
Southwell's Tapeta venue is the sole all-weather meeting on Tuesday, but there still seem to be a couple of tasty wagers at respectable prices.
Tom Eaves heads to the Nottinghamshire venue for a couple of rides with Sherlock looking to hold solid form claims in the Win £1M With BetMGM's Golden Goals Nursery Handicap (5.30).
The Kevin Ryan team arrives in good form with four winners from their last twenty runners (20%) over the last two weeks and it's easy to see why Sherlock has found his way to the top of the market.
Sent off the well-fancied 9/4 market leader for his nursery debut at Newcastle two weeks ago, the Kevin Ryan-trained juvenile suffered plenty of trouble in running before keeping on nicely to grab third inside the final furlong.
The runner-up has since gone on to fill the same position in a more competitive nursery at Southwell next time and there's no doubt this represents a drop in grade for Sherlock, who should be more streetwise under pressure this time around.
Stall eight shouldn't pose any problems for Tom Eaves and with a 1lb drop in the weights also there to aid his chances, this recently gelded son of Invincible Spirit looks like good value to get off the mark at the fifth attempt.

Later on the card, Richard Hannon's Boubou looks like chancing in the Win £1M With BetMGM's Golden Goals Fillies' Novice at 6.30.
There's no doubt Nazuki is the horse to beat following a promising debut second at over course and distance 26 days ago, but at the current prices, Boubou has to be taken seriously from an each-way angle.
Richard Hannon's filly showed up well for a long way before tiring late on into sixth in a six-and-a-half-furlong maiden on heavy ground at Newbury eighteen days ago, leaving the impression she certainly had more to offer going forward.
The daughter of Kodiac – who is a half-sister to the Group 3-winning two-year-old Hurricane Ivor – showed plenty of natural pace that day and will have no problem dropping back to the flat-six furlongs on her all-weather debut.
The first three from that Newbury maiden all house ratings in the 80s and it's likely she won't need to find a great deal of improvement to be competitive for leading connections.
