NEXTANIX (Kerry Parker) - The best still is to come from this promising new season 4yo. He put in another eye catching effort at Rosehill last Saturday and it is only a matter of time before he breaks through in metropolitan company, perhaps up to a mile soon. He just needs pace on in his races.

Jason Hickson

CHASE THE RAINBOW (Rick Hore-Lacy) - Won his maiden at the Geelong Thoroughtrack on Tuesday but looks way above midweek grade. Really attacked the line when finally in the clear and will be further improved with more ground even up to a mile. Stable have a habit of finding a nice young horse.

'Aspro'

DUSTY STAR (Peter Morgan) - Ran well first up in the Bletchingly rating well at Caulfield in a similar beginning to last campaign. He quickly scored at his next two runs before continuing on into Stakes grade. If he can find a soft leading 1400m watch for him to control it and take some running down.

Alex Steedman

FORETELLER (Chris Waller) - Looked so impressive winning on resumption at Rosehill that it is hard to see him not winning a decent race. Whether that is an Epsom in the Spring or a Villiers in the Summer not sure but that is not out of the question as these imports can be even better after a good spell.

Wayne Bristow

ALTIUS (Chris Waller) - Getting his first win since heading north to Sydney's leading yard, this half brother to Elvstroem and Haradasun looks to have upside going forward. Looks to be a miler or further as his effort on Saturday was strong given the run he had. The key now is he heads into open class now so he needs to keep improving.
