Another busy weekend in the US

There's a few Derbys and Oakses around this weekend but we will start off with the Saturday ones and come to Sunday's races later.

The Florida Derby is of huge interest as current fav for the Kentucky version, Union Rags, runs here and is at 6/5, with the Todd Pletcher trained El Padrino expected to be a keen challenger on 2/1. Take Charge Indy is next best at 5/1.

Also on the Gulfstream Park card there's the Rampart G3 for 4y+ f&m over 1800m with 6 to run. Awesome Maria has an awesome record and is 3/5 for this with Beloveda the best of the rest on 3/1.

The Skip Away G3 is over 1900m for 4y+ with 9 to run. Where's Sterling is on 5/2, Alma d'Oro 3/1 and Self Control 4/1.

The Gulfstream Oaks is G2 for the 3yo girls and of course over 1800m. Grace Hall is 2/1. Zo Impressive 3/1, with And Why Not on 4/1.

The Orchid G3 for 4y+ f&M over 2400, turf has Keertana 5/2, Hit It Rich 3/1 but we will go for the 4yo filly in this race - Aqsaam 4/1 in the Shadwell colours.

The Santa Anita Oaks has Eden Moon as favourite for this and for the Kentucky Oaks as well. She's taken care of Reneesgotzip and Willa B Awesome in the past and looks like she can do it again here.

The Fair Grounds Oaks has Rachel Alexandra winner Summer Applause at 8/5, Believe You Can after revenge at 3/1, and Inny Minnie trying to improve on two recent seconds.
