Cieren Fallon has revealed he has appealed the six-figure fine and month-long ban that he picked up when steering Lake Forest to victory in the $10 million Golden Eagle last weekend. Fallon was fined A$100,000 and was banned from riding for a month after Australian stewards deemed he caused interference in the closing stages. Fallon, who is based with trainer William Haggas, felt the sanction he received was excessive.
Bryony Frost will return to tiding in Britain on Friday when she is reunited with Sans Bruit for Exeter's BetMGM Haldon Gold Cup. Frost, who is now permanently based in France, steered the Paul Nicholls-trained chaser to victory in the Red Rum Chase at Aintree in April.
