Adrian Keatley outlines Ascot plan for G Force

G Force could make a swift return to action at Ascot on Saturday week following an excellent effort in defeat in the Ayr Gold Cup.

Winner of the Sprint Cup at Haydock in 2014 for David O'Meara, the five-year-old joined Adrian Keatley earlier this year and was well supported for his big-race assignment in Scotland.

While he came up a little short, G Force ran his best race of the season so far to finish fourth and t he John Guest Bengough Stakes on October 1 could be his next port of call.

Keatley said: "He's come out of it well and we were delighted with him.

"He just got going a bit late in proceedings. The winner was to his left and he veered to the right. It's a fine line in those big sprints.

"He still ran a very good race and he's going in the right direction, which is the main thing.

"We'll see how he is, but we might take him to Ascot on October 1 for a Group Three."
