To be ridden for the first time by Craig Williams, the Johno Benner-trained son of Elusive City will jump from gate 14.

The Gr.3 Caulfield Guineas Prelude winner Rich Enuff also has a potentially awkward draw in 10 while the Queenslander Looks Like The Cat, who has finished runner-up at his last two outings, is inside the pre-post favourite at nine.

Gai Waterhouse’s Almalad, a last-start winner of the Gr.3 Bill Stutt Stakes, has gate 13 to contend with while Chivalry will start from barrier 12.

The New Zealand-bred Merion, the winner of three of his four starts for Mike Moroney, will jump from barrier four. The son of O’Reilly was successful last time out in the Listed Living Legends Stakes at Flemington.
