Bold Missile (Race 2) opened well into each way odds but is now a clear favourite at $2.70 after shortening more than five points. The son of Smart Missile is on debut for Henry Dwyer and the market push suggests plenty is expected first up.

Vanilla Gold (Race 5) was well into double figures but when markets opened but steady support has seen hershorten more than eight points and in to favouritism at $4.60. She should be improved by her resuming second and had city form last campaign.

Nikitas (Race 6) is challenging for the top line of betting at $3.80 having more than halved his opening price. He is now in the all conquering Darren Weir yard and the punters expect a big run first up.

I'll'ava'alf (Race 7) is now second pick in the market at $4.60 having shortened more than three points. He tuned up for this by winning on the flat on Tuesday and the punters are keen to double up.

High Church (Race 8) is a well-supported favourite in the Warrnambool Cup at $2.90, two-and-a-half points shorter than his opening price. He was close up in the Easter Cup last start and can continue Darren Weir’s run of success.
