Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting on Thursday’s meeting at Muswellbrook.

Roman Typhoon (Race 1) has been hammered in early betting to $1.75, which is close to three points shorter than his opening quote. The two-year-old is on debut for Jan Bowen but looked good in winning a recent trial at Scone.

Exit Only (Race 4) has been backed in from an opening double figure quote but still offers each way value at $5 after firming a massive 12 point in TopBetta fixed odds betting. He is another from the Jan Bowen yard and should be ready to go first up off two trials.

Exitozo (Race 7) is a dominant favourite at $2.20 having shortened 60 cents since markets opened. He has been close up in some strong events of late so looks suited in this field.

Sapience (Race 8) has been backed into second favouritism at $4.40, which is two-and-a-half points shorter than his opening quote. He drops in grade from the provincials last time after a first up Cessnock second and should be peaking third up.
