The Money Trail – Gosford, November 9

Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting for Wednesday’s meeting at Gosford.

Banuelo (Race 2) is the best supported in a competitive betting race, firming in more than a point to $3.30. The John O’Shea filly should be fully fit third up from a spell and hasn’t been beaten far at either of her runs this time in at this course.

I Am Impressed (Race 4) has taken over at the head of the market at $3.60 on the back of good early support that has seen him shorten close to a point from the opening market. He was outgraded at Randwick last start but will find this much easier.

Baroque Girl (Race 6) has been heavily backed into favouritism at $2.40, which is a full point shorter than her initial price. She was just nosed out last time and comes into this third up having won her only other start at this course and distance.

Never Out (Race 7) is challenging for the top spot in betting at $3.70, three and a half points shorter than her first quote. The Star Witness filly is on debut for Kim Waugh and comes off a recent 3.5L barrier trial win at this course.
