Chaussure (Race 2) has been the only one punters have wanted in the small field and he is now into an odds on quote at $1.60 after firming more than a point. The lightly raced colt resumed with a maiden win at Warwick Farm when he went straight to 1400m so should be fitter for today’s assignment.

Cliff (Race 4) opened at a double figure quote but has firmed in seven points, challenging for favouritism at $3.60. He bolted in with a 7L maiden win at Queanbeyan last start and while this is tougher he looks to have come back in good order and should be peaking third up.

Kuro (Race 5) is a class printer when right and the punters believe he could be ready to produce, with a nibble at double figures seeing his price firm four and a half points to $7. He resumes off two trial placings and has twice won fresh in the past.
