The Money Trail – Kyneton, November 2

Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting for Wednesday’s meeting at Kyneton.

Riverina Bella (Race 4) has been backed into second favouritism at $3.60 with TopBetta, about five points shorter than her earlier price. Punters are prepared to forgive her last start failure at Geelong and are giving her another chance after a first up Echuca win and closing run at Bendigo.

Diamond Baroness (Race 5) is throwing down the challenge for the top spot in the market at $3.10 after shortening more than a point. The Ciaron Maher-trained mare resumes but looks progressive with two wins and close second from three runs last campaign.

Light 'n' Fire (Race 6) has tightened his grip on the market at $2.70, shortening 40 cents in early trading. He is racing well with a last start win at this distance and had a Coleraine second and Swan Hill victory at his two previous starts.

Tears Of Joy (Race 8) opened well into double figures but has firmed close to nine points to $4.40 on the back of heavy support in the Kyneton Cup. The mare improved plenty for a close second at Moonee Valley last start and should now be at peak fitness after three runs this time in.
